Towns Architecture

Walking around town this morning I took more notice than usual at some of the amazing architecture. Now I realise that you have noticed it but how much do we appreciate the workmanship in these buildings. This kind of art will never be the same again as it is just not cost effective so we should really make the most of these buildings before they inevitably become extinct.

 Halifax Borough Market

Theatre Royale

Duke of Wellington

Lloyds Bank

 

Take a really good look next time your in town but watch out for the lampposts. Although we will never see buildings like the ones above being erected again, some of our modern architecture is ok too.

Ok. so this one of Westgate Arcade was the only decent modern building I could find.
